The success of a worship service or special event here at Faithful Central goes far beyond who is on the stage or who is teaching a certain class. Only through the efforts of many men, women, and even children does everything come together and allow us to function and minister as a church body. Serving with others is one of the best ways to get to know people and build valuable relationships.

If you have a passion to serve others and would like to offer your time and talents in service to God and those around you, we encourage you to pray about serving in one of the following areas in our Services Ministries …

  1. Armor Bearer also referred to as Security
    The Armor Bearer extends personal aid to Bishop and First Family as well as the Pastoral Staff.  Often present during worship services, special events, speaking engagements and other off-campus appointments and activities.
  2. Beautification
    Assist Facilities in maintaining the church campus and specifically the altar for worship in the area (flowers, furniture, etc.)
  3. Bulletin Preparation & Stuffing
    Our team of men and women devote 1-2 hours weekly every Friday evening to prepare the bulletins which will be circulated to the congregation.  This behind the scenes ministry allows you to serve in a fun and unique way.  Each bulletin placed in another hand is a ministry and evangelism opportunity to share what is current in our church. 
  4. Christian Education (Baby Dedication/Baptism/Holy Hands/Noah’s Ark Children’s Church)
    Baby Dedication and Baptism:  
    are scheduled by appointment-orientation and class necessary and serve in conjunction with the Family Life Ministry (Pastor Jordan Allen).

  5. Counter (with Elders & Deacons) -
    Assist Elders & Deacons with the counting of the Offering
  6. Deacon 
    Extend lay ministry during the Sunday service assisting in various areas of ministry; appointment to this post based on recommendations from a current Church Leadership Officer or Pastor.
  7. Decision Counselor
    Also referred to as Altar Worker, the Decision Counselor assists those in understanding decisions concerning their salvation and commitment to Christ, as well as membership to Faithful Central Bible Church
  8.  Elder 
    Responsible for upholding the fiduciary by-laws and operation of the church; Extend lay ministry during the Sunday service assisting in various areas of ministry; appointment to this post based on recommendation from current Church Leadership Officer or Pastor
  9. FCBC Ministers
    Assist the Pastoral Staff to extend ministry of leadership in the areas but not exclusive to Family milestones, Baptism, Baby Dedication, Bereavement, Marriage, etc.
  10. Music (Praise Team/Choir/Musicians)
    Praise Team usher the presence of Christ into the worship experience
    Choir assists in ministering the message of Christ into the worship experience
    Musicians accompany the vocalist(s) in the worship experience.
  11. Greeters 
    Assist in creating an environment that reflects God’s love through interactions with our members and guests as they arrive for a service or event.
  12. Guest Relations 
    Our Guest Relations team provides help, direction, and information to our friends, visitors, and special guests. Prior service required as a Greeter or Usher for a minimum of 6 months prior to recommendation.
  13. Hospitality 
    Extend warmth and care to the invited guests of the Bishop, Pastoral Staff and guest churches.  Prior service required as a Greeter or Usher for a minimum of 6 months prior to recommendation.
  14. Media – Sales & Duplication Team 
    Provide duplication of the worship service message and sales services at the FCBC Bookstore, Tabernacle Sales Booth and Forum Media Centers
  15. Media – Sound
    Provide audio support of worship service experience
  16. Media – Video
    Provide recorded visual support of worship service experience.
  17. Prayer Team
    Provide intercessory prayer over the Faithful Central Bible Church before and during the worship service experience.
  18. Production
    Assist in the production and logistics during special events and the worship service experience.
  19. Troubleshooters
    These are the men and women who serve to meet various situations that may arise during the course of a service or event. Attending to needs such as sudden medical crises or even directing someone to the nearest restroom are immediately addressed with care and attention by our Troubleshooters.
  20. Ushers
    Positioned strategically during services and events, our ushers are quick to lend a helping hand. They assist in finding available seating, helping with children, and pointing people in the right direction, in addition to collecting the offering and serving communion.
  21. Shuttle Service
    Our team provides shuttle transportation before and after services in The Forum to our Senior population as well as those physically challenged in walking the steps which lead into the arena.  Though wheelchair access is not permitted inside of the arena floor, we do offer seating for wheelchair users on the Concourse Level directly facing the stage.
